Founded in 1854, Poly Prep Country Day School is one of the oldest established schools in Brooklyn, and has attained a reputation as one of the best private schools in New York City. The Upper School is situated on a historic, college-like 25-acre campus and has expansive educational, arts and athletic facilities. As part of Poly Prep’s overall strategy to remain at the forefront in these disciplines, JLGA is adding a two-story, 27,000 sq. ft. Athletic Center on campus. As the first new building on the Dyker Heights campus in nearly 20 years, the New Athletic Center will feature a dedicated, state-of-the-art 10,000 sq. ft. wrestling facility on the top floor. The ground floor will house six international, competition-sized squash courts, including two all-glass courts with stadium-style spectator seating.
