I founded Della Group 20 years ago, with a view to bringing to India a world-class level of architecture and interior design. While working with the Italians, I began to believe that India deserved a meeting, holiday and adventure option that was equal to any of the best in the world and was a source of good, clean, quality enjoyment. I began planning the Della Adventure Park, right alongside the Della Resort and Villas that I was developing in Lonavala.
With its 100 activities, Della Adventure Park is today India's largest adventure park and has put India on the international gaming map. Della Resorts is now widely acclaimed as the finest in the region and is extremely popular with corporates who use its many meeting and banqueting facilities and the adventure park for 'outdoors training'.
Della is now a respected presence in Architecture, Interior Design, Development, Construction, Furniture, Adventure, Resorts and Banquets.
I am self-taught, and I do not possess a degree from an elite architectural or design school. But I have learnt how to set new benchmarks in these fields. Till date, Della Tecnica has transformed several ET 100 corporate premises into dynamic environments and helped interpret many value propositions into brand experiences. The projects include major Master Planning and Mass Housing to large scale Architectural Projects, from Shopping Malls to TV studios, from high profile residences to award winning retail & hospitality design and an award-winning yacht design for Dr Vijay Mallya.
