About

I would like to express my interest in an internship which will utilize my skills.

First off, I have worked for Kumho Engineering & Construction, one of the biggest construction companies in Korea, for five years, and have worked on various projects such as office buildings, commercial facility and condominium complex. As a project control assistant manager, there are many chances to work with different people daily and this position is expected to act as a liaison between the senior manager and the various teams to achieve a common objective. Handling all aspects of site progress, rectifying the inaccuracies, supervising the daily work and deftly delegating responsibilities is a challenge, that needs effective decision-making ability. To deal with a mixture of jobs on the field, I do prioritize tasks, work some extra hours and work by utilizing the firm’s human resources therefore those can simultaneously be solved in the most economical way. With the given opportunity, I have had not only a thorough understanding of the management skills but also responsibilities.

Based on these experiences, I would very much like to have the opportunity to intern in the United States where I can develop my career and expand my experience by working with highly talented and expert teams. I am a high energy communicator and have a proactive approach to managing project schedules and cost. As well, I simply fit myself to the field above mentioned. However, I am constantly seeking and initiating my knowledge of new method and tools. If any new engineering related fields offer an opportunity to draw my capabilities, I would be happy to join them.

In addition, I am familiar with drawings and specifications, and able to bring my strength in developing architectural design. My classical skills of hand drafting/ sketching translate to computer skills through AutoCAD 2011. I think my architectural engineering background would be an advantage to generate the functional and cohesive designs.

Through my intensive training and work experience in United States, I would like to be a highly proficient project manager who can contribute my creative solutions, skills, enthusiasm, and passion for project, while managing specific tasks such as issues of budget, scheduling, and quality-control.
