HUNT Engineers, Architects, and Land Surveyors, P.C., Horeseheads, NY, Architectural Designer

Worked for a medium-sized full service design firm, specializing in school design, with a focus on site and client sensitivity. Participated in the design and production of two large Auditorium and Gym Addition projects. Acted as lead designer on a small Addition and new Bus Garage. The design was aimed at marrying the site and the clients desires while simultaneously and respectfully, questioning the garage typology, resulting also in a great deal of custom detailing and spec writing. I was promoted to Design Team Leader for a 30,000 sf addition to an Alternative High School in Ithaca, NY, for which I lead many meetings and presentations with the school community and Ithaca School Board of Education. Learned and performed such tasks as product research, site documentation and analysis, code review, submittal review, project management and roof replacement.
