About 

Gloria Saá García is an award-winning young architect with 3 years of professional experience across Europe and the USA.

Born in Spain, she graduated as an architect at the ETSAS (Technical University of Seville) (2015-2020) and completed a Master's degree at the same institution (2020-2021). . She studied at the Graz University of Technology (TU Graz) for one year on an Erasmus scholarship, where she won the First Prize in the "Nearly Zero Competition 2019" and participated in a workshop at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Following her graduation, she pursued a Postgraduate Course in Architecture for Heritage at YACademy in Bologna.

Her academic accomplishments include winning the First Prize in the TFG 2021 Awards for her Final Degree Project, "Body, Envelope, and Hollow," and receiving an Honorable Mention in the TFM 2022 Awards for her master's project, "Air Chrysalises: 30 Dwellings in the Garden of Eden," which achieved a grade of 10/10. She gained professional experience at Borja Sallago Architects (Seville), as a researcher in the European Project IN-HABIT, and at ACTA studio (Seville).

In 2022, she was honored to receive the prestigious ARQUIA Scholarship, awarded to promising young architects in Spain and Portugal, in recognition of her academic achievements. Obtaining one of the two scholarships offered to work in New York, she embarked on an 18-month traineeship at MQ Architecture,   where she contributed to award-winning projects such as the Robert Olnick Pavilion (MQ Architecture & Alberto Campo Baeza). She currently works at MQ Architecture.

In 2022, I was honored to receive one of the prestigious ARQUIA scholarships, awarded to promising young architects in Spain and Portugal, in recognition of my academic achievements. Obtaining one of the two scholarships offered to work in New York, I embarked on an 18-month traineeship at MQ Architecture under the mentorship of Miguel Quismondo, a globally acclaimed Spanish architect based in NYC. MQ Architecture is a renowned New York-based firm known for its award-winning, high-end designs across various sectors including museums, residences, hospitality, retail, offices, and art assemblage.
