I need info, examples, or any stuff about urban, public pools projects, is for my project class at MDA, (Master architectural design) at Pamplona, Spain.....
has anyone seen the play "private jokes public places" written by oren safdie (moshe safdie's son)? its about an architecture student's review / crit.
her project is a public swimming pool and in the play one of her reviewers tries to dissect her design and ends up psychoanalyzing her instead. he tries to make a case that the design moves are indicative of her past experiences. specifically that her shameful feelings of being naked in the changing rooms of public swimming pools as a child influence the public and private spaces in her building. but the reivewers have never met the student before and just foist the whole premise on her.
that's not the whole play, but part of it.
its hilarious.
