About

I was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science & Forestry (SUNY-ESF). While obtaining my degree, I declared my option as policy, planning, and law with a focus on urban planning and environmental policy work. I had the opportunity to attend and review local Zoning Board of Appeals and Planning Board meetings through a Land-Use Law course. I also completed several landscape architecture studios, to obtain specialized drawing skills and the ability to read technical maps and drawings. This helped sharpen my graphical representation skills and ability to work on real world project materials.

My professional work experience includes writing a campus wide recycling policy for SUNY-Orange while interning in the Office of Sustainability. During my final semester at SUNY-ESF I collaborated with a group of peers to complete a campus wide greenhouse gas inventory. Currently, I am working with the Orange County Land Trust, to assemble a management plan for the Birinburg Preserve for and assure SEQR compliance for a future trail project.
