Specht Harpman was brought on board to create an office space, set within a historic Tribeca wood-frame loft, for HDNet, a dynamic film production company with specific design ideas and requirements. By preserving the 19th century stamped metal ceiling, the design creates a striking contrast between the ornate decoration overhead and the clean, custom millwork and off-the-shelf parts that make up an open and inviting workspace on the ground. Custom-built display panels that create changeable backlit advertising walls in the lobby area engage visitors.
