Hale Akoakoa Residence

Perched on a hillside plot offering sweeping vistas of Kaua'i's South Shore, Hale Akoakoa is an architectural gem designed to navigate the intricate topography of the land. Envisioned as three distinct islands seamlessly linked by bridges, the central 'island' is strategically placed along the ridge's center line, emerging from the slope to form a platform housing the primary living areas and a stylish swimming pool. This architectural volume shapes an inviting entry courtyard, providing glimpses through the residence towards the distant ocean. Flanking this central hub are two additional 'islands' serving as bedroom wings. Positioned in the wind-sheltered enclave, the Primary Suite gazes over a serene valley to the west, while the guest rooms bask in the morning sunrise and panoramic ocean views to the east.
