The concept of a modular cafeteria for KOMA Modular is based on two main thoughts: first, creating a demonstrably modular structure with exposed modules in its exterior, and next, harmonizing the house layout with modules of 9 x 3 m. We have also used the potential of the cafeteria location on the factory premises and oriented the glazed first floor towards the factory offering a generous view. Physical rest during lunch breaks is encouraged by placing the serving hatch on the first floor, to distinguish it from the workshop downstairs where most of the production is concentrated. In collaboration with our client, we managed to increase the employees´ attendance to a large extent , by providing them with a hot lunch.
