Jones Studio is a mid-sized architecture, interior design, graphic design, and planning firm founded in Phoenix, Arizona in 1979 by Eddie Jones, AIA. Younger brother Neal Jones, AIA, joined the firm in 1986.
Since it’s start, the Jones Studio “family” has grown to include 14 highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals. The firm enjoys an unusually broad range of building types, spanning from a “two-holer” outhouse trailhead located on a remote desert site, to the 57-acre Mariposa Land Port of Entry in Nogales, Arizona – the third busiest land port in the United States.
Their portfolio also includes museums, hospitality facilities, high-end custom designed homes, research facilities, performing arts centers, golf club houses, an NFL training facility, town halls, softball-soccer stadiums, and an entire college campus.
Jones Studio and their clients have been honored with 187 design awards, for over 50 built projects.
The studio was put on public display during the summer months of 2006 when they were invited to exhibit at the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art. To the best of anyone’s knowledge it was a precedent-setting example of an “architectural” exhibit involving the relocation of an entire firm to a museum gallery. They were the show… fully functioning, in front of everyone, for four months!
