Dylan Quan joined Arup at the end of December 2013 as a CAD/BIM Designer after interning the previous summer at the Arup New Jersey office. With a couple of years in the industry freelancing for architects and teaching for the Guggenheim, he has already been involved in a range of projects including residential, educational, commercial office, laboratories, and large-scale infrastructure projects.
From his time at Arup, he has experience working in various design and construction phases on several projects and his roles include coordination, forensic structural photography, 3D modelling, transmittals, and developing macros for Revit.
Prior to joining Arup, he held positions teaching conceptual art, working in architecture, interior design, and consulting, and has worked on a host of micro to macro projects in the built world.
