DSH // architecture has completed numerous educational, residential, commercial, urban and landscape projects since its founding in 1997. Our design work operates at a range of scales, from attention to the details of color and light, design of sites and landscape, an appreciation of the broader urban context, and issues unearthed by a consideration of history.
The work of DSH has been published in a variety of print and digital media such as Dwell, Residential Architect, The Los Angeles Times, and a number of books, and has been exhibited both locally and internationally. Recent awards include those from the AIA/Los Angeles, the AIA/California, the Los Angeles Conservancy, the Los Angeles Business Council, the California Preservation Foundation, and the Spark Design Awards. The partners of DSH actively participate in the architectural community through lectures, design competitions, teaching, conference presentations, and involvement with professional organizations.
