About

I am a senior Interior Design major at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and an assistant designer at Affordable Interiors. I am actively looking for a full-time job post graduation.

My college journey has helped me to cultivate a solid foundation of interior design knowledge, and my present curriculum is helping me develop a strong design background. My coursework includes

commercial design, residential design, and the development of design, as well as professional
practices, business, and interpersonal communication.

In addition to being a motivated student, I’m a member of three national organizations:
International Interior Design Association (IIDA), American Society of Interior Designers (ASID),
and Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society, as well as the campus photography
club. Through these organizations I’ve participated in several community service projects
and philanthropic events. Though I put a strong priority on academics, I make a great effort to
contribute to the community as I proceed in my journey of becoming a well-rounded individual.

As a design assistant at Affordable Interiors, I have learned many valuable skills. On a daily basis
I interact with fellow designers, clients, suppliers, and manufacturers. This has helped me to
hone my communication skills. Working alongside the designers has supported my growth as a
designer, as I’ve become familiar with different materials and more creative with my designs.
