I strongly believe that through architectural interventions alluding to the urban scale and “Innovation through research”, the young and upcoming generation will intervene flooding with fresh ideas and progressive thinking. All of these through innovation in design and artistry, and involving myself in the multiple disciplines it encompassed. Taking projects from an idea on a drawing board through construction is truly an amazing gradient experience that I wish to pursue.
This is a result of maturing as a young architecture student at the University of Florida, where not only the tools were given, but also the gift of the critical thinking and problem solution initiative. Working in tandem with faculty through the Consortium for Hydro-Generated Urbanism, my efforts were to highlight the issues of urban infrastructure in the state of Florida. Through curating research and analysis, this opened my eyes to the effects of how research and innovation work hand in hand to create a more sustainable solution to the ever growing problems that urban centers will face. In addition, I also matured with on-field experience that allows me to see the entire pictures when it comes to the development of a project from beginning to end. Although mostly my experience was in high-end residential, it involved highly technical details that needed problem solving beyond just the “cookie cutter” details. I was able to successfully completed 5 projects during my year on employment. Ranging from schematic development to Construction Documents and approved my local city officials in Miami and Bahamas. This in tandem with various client meetings, site evaluations, consultant coordination and contractor relations. My relations within my position enabled me to have positive outcomes for my team as well as myself. My knowledge in the digital realm have enabled me to complete mass task in an timely and orderly fashion attending to my responsibilities and deadlines.
Unfortunately, I had to resign from my previous position due to my immigration status. My temporary working permit could not be renewed. But, after months of waiting without the legal ability to work, I was able to obtain my permanent working permit which allows me to work freely.

Development of schematic design, design development and construction documentation. During my time in that firm, I was able to manage 3 projects from schematic design all the way to construction administration. Drafting and coordination with consultants and contractors on design strategies for private clients as well as developers. These interactions were a daily task due to the workload that each project demanded. Constant contact with clients either on private meetings, conference calls or on-site. Projects management and construction administration of multiple high-end residential homes in Florida and Bahamas. Managing and reviewing render process and results.
