Mohammed Al Ameen Mosque, Muscat, Oman.

Considering the importance of the project, prime location was selected which was visible to all corners of the city. It is the latest addition to the Muscat's skyline and has been a major landmark !

design is a blend of various Islamic architectural languages as well as the traditional Omani Architecture. 

Mosque facilitates 3000 prayers at peak. Separate male & female praying areas were created being in line with the Islamic religious principles. In addition, full fledged library & class rooms  were included, so that this will act as a learning hub for the local community.

Consisted of very high end finishes including marble cladding, decorative marble & mosaic works, bronze doors & windows, complex timber works etc.

My Role: Responsible for the liaison with the client organization &other consultants, Contract administration, selection and approval of materials and finishes and general construction supervision. Design coordination for Architectural, structural and MEP works.
