I do not believe in styles...rather I believe in the continuum of architecture. The "classical" world has been filtered and transformed over the centuries into our world. Classical architecture is not a monoculture. It is pluralistic,it is adaptable and it allows for invention.I don't believe that modernism and classicism should be in opposition...much can be learned from each sphere. There is good classical design and bad classical design just as there is good and bad modernist design...I just believe in good architecture.I therefore describe my work as contemporary because I am still alive...even though my work builds on my classical training I am open to many cultures and ideas.
