I am a B.Arch student at Cal Poly Pomona, seeking a summer internship opportunity. I have experience in Revit, Rhino, and Adobe Creative Sweet. I am also currently teaching myself Cove.tool for energy analysis and embodied carbon estimations.

My passion lies in sustainable design with a focus on building performance evaluations. I am particularly interested in the early integration of embedded and operational carbon evaluations as an integral and informative step in the design process rather than just simply to meet verification standards for committees such as LEED.

My passion for sustainable design can be seen throughout all my projects. For example in previous projects, I incorporated Glue-Laminated Timber as a sustainable alternative to the recommended steel (see Mount Wilson Observatory project). Similarly, I utilized the building facade to reduce HVAC demand by optimizing natural light from the North while minimizing exposure from the East, South, and West directions, which receive the most sunlight (see Pomona School of Architecture project). In another example, I was able to calculate the proper overhang distance and offset to allow for the most sunlight during the winter months while having the least during the summer months (see ZNE project pg. 20)
