Dan’s passions for art and travel led him to study architecture at University of Nevada, Las Vegas and later abroad in Turin, Italy under several scholarships. While studying in Italy, he visited invaluable examples of regional, ancient, and contemporary masterworks. Later accepted to Rhode Island School of Design with a graduate fellowship, he researched issues in infrastructural urbanism and collective memory in Las Vegas with his thesis Echelon Park. Upon graduation, he was awarded the Alpha Rho Chi Medal for distinguished school service, leadership potential, and professional merit.
His professional career consists of three years of full-time experience at the international architecture offices of Gensler and Friedmutter Group. His experience includes producing and submitting construction documents on commercial, casino, and hospitality projects, conducting meetings with clients and sales representatives, and preparing projects for LEED certification. Other skills include sustainable design consultation, Revit expertise, and talents for hand sketching, watercolor painting, digital rendering, book design, and model-making. While working towards licensure, he seeks to combine his artistic intuition with a pragmatic design sense to play a lead role in the field of architecture.
