About

Coming from a bilingual background, I am extremely intrigued by architectural interactions and exchanges among multiple cultures. Study aboard experiences in school and work experiences post graduation have broadened my awareness and outlook in architecture, but at the same time helped me hone my career goals as a young professional. My passion for architecture and my well-rounded background has prepared me for a strong set of skills and an appropriate disposition that I believe I can offer to any entry to mid-level position.

Aside from work, I immerse myself in architectural education and giving back to where I received first-hand experience in design, leadership, and teamwork. I am a frequent guest critic for reviews at Woodbury University. My dedication to education, specifically teaching, has motivated me to establish an architecture school for children – International Institute of Architecture (IIA). The goal in creating a school is to provide an outlet for young, creative minds to the world of architecture by educating and equipping them with basic design knowledge and skills to transform their ideas into reality. In addition to further developing IIA, in my free time, becoming licensed in the near future is another career goal of mine.

Employment

International Institute of Architecture (IIA), Los Angeles, CA, US, Founder

International Institute of Architecture (IIA) offers an intensive eight-week design workshop to youth ages 12 and above. IIA workshops introduce young, creative minds to the world of architecture, and it is our goal to expand each student's design knowledge. In recent times, more and more art and design classes have been cut from school budgets and the opportunity to develop a creative set of intelligent skills is overlooked and slowly forgotten. We believe that our goal and weekly curriculum will inspire students to develop a strong set of critical thinking, problem-solving, communication and design skills. These skills will open up avenues for future success and preparation for higher education whether it is in architecture or design related professions.
