About

I am an architect with more than seven years of professional experience in companies dedicated to quality control, management and technical consultancy, in planning and architecture fields. In addition, I further my skills and qualifications with doctoral studies related to urban sustainability and postgraduate specialization on Development and International Cooperation and energy efficiency, along with collaborations with different NGOs and associations.

As architect at Arquitectos Urbanistas Ingenieros Asociados, AUIA, I have been part of teams working in architecture and urban planning services, involved in different stages from the conception to the control of the construction works. In the architecture area, I have participated in residential, logistics, parking and singular building projects. While, in urbanism I have gained experience in different city and regional planning and urban design projects. Therefore, I have experience in all stages and scales of architecture and planning projects. Currently, I am a freelance architect providing architecture services, building engineering, planning and research.

I am a PhD candidate in the Urban and Regional Planning Unit of the School of Architecture at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, in the Program: “Peripheries, Sustainability and Urban Vitality”. In addition, recently I have been a visiting PhD student at the School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape of the University of Newcastle. My main research subjects of interest are energy efficiency and integrated urban regeneration with an active collaboration and communication between local actors.

I also have experience as technical consultant for different NGOs, with some overseas experience in Bolivia and Lebanon. I would like to highlight that I have founded with more professionals the Association Otro Hábitat - OH. This is an action-research group interested in collaborative planning to improve neighborhoods’ liability and accessibility conditions.

I am very eager to further my career and achieve some international experience related to architecture, facilities, urban design and planning projects. I will be glad to attend and discuss my career and work experience plans and qualifications. Samples of my work can be downloaded at
