Los Angeles Science & Technology Museum

Suspended volumes are raised in elevation creating opportunities for visitors to experience a variety of information and sensations. A double facade is used to create an enclosure where solar temperatures are regulated, trapping the radiant heat from the Southern California sun and lifting it up and outside of the museum. The organization of the structure is split into seven levels, minimizing the footprint, creating a contemporary hypothesis for a culture where information, technology, culture, and structure all collide and continue to create new forms of knowledge and experience.
