The M&M RFP was to concieve of a series of stores that showcased the brand in the global market while also providing sustainable design. The main concept proposed was simply “M MATTERS. Saving the world with every M.” Through the use of scattered circular rooms, visitors could learn about global causes that were designated to that color and every purchase of that color would provide global aid to that cause. Bamboo plywood and recycled glass are used to imply the connection to the simple concept of: chocolate with a candy coated shell, which recalls the origin of the M&M indentity.
