A sample of the architectural signage I designed for the new Connextions facility in Orlando, FL. Fabrication was done by Designage in Maitland, FL. The scope for this project was to design and fabricate interior / exterior signage and wayfinding that would compliment the building's architectural elements. Shown is a sample of the interior ADA compliant signage which is painted layered acrylic and one of the reception feature graphic which was cut from 1/8" aluminum and stud mounted off of the finished wall. On the exterior are fabricated, reverse channel logo graphics with LED halo lighting.

I'd like to write about my experiences in designing architectural signage and graphics by drawing on my 15+ years as a designer both for a signage firm and independently. Post will include current projects as well as past project's victories and failures, material options and fabrication methods. Thank you, Ronnie Mesa
