the years of architecture at UTS

    SallyHsu May 13 '10 2

As the first blog entry, I would like to start by stating UTS is the university I have spent the last four years at. Its an university only as old as I am, and I assure you I am not old, I hope not at the age of 22. The ambitions of this young university and the architectural school is higher than our iconic tower, our staff may be young but they certainly do not lack experience. I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience UTS architectural school has offered. Once headed by Sandra Kaji-O'Grady now Anthony Burke, I owe great gratitudes to both, who out of the many staff at UTS, I have been privileged enough to be taught by and worked with.

Now in my final year, the fifth year, it is the perfect time to reflect through this blog on what UTS architecture has offered me. I hope you'll be just as excited to read about it, as I have enjoyed experiencing it first hand.

    Design Architecture Building UTS

To cut short for this first entry, to get started, check out the official faculty website.
Browsing through it you will find a great range of student work from all disciplines within the faculty.

Do check out the architecture section.
You'll be able to find my early works within it too.

The next few entry I will be reflecting on several past studios through the year and bring updates on the master class I am studying in 2010. Through this I hope to encourage great range architectural discourse by all on current debates, particularly the ones from down under at UTS.

Welcome. Its nice to get a 'local' take on architecture schools. Tell me, what is the status on the UTS Broadway Building?

hopefully it will be real exciting to see not only university work presented but also a range of extra curricular opportunities. hope to evoke inspiration, even motivation for all in the discipline and profession.
