Well, the first day of school is tomorrow. I'll be part of a design/build studio this semester, so I'll be doing construction for the first time. I like the way the program is structured-over three semesters, the project is chosen, designed, and then built. I was not involved in any of the previous stages, but I was able to stop by and look at the previous semesters' work-they did the construction documents last spring.
I still have yet to purchase a hard hat and screw gun, mostly because I want to see what kind of equipment is best. Other than that, I'm nervous and excited about being out in the Texas sun every day from 7am until noon :)
