About

Growing up in Louisiana, I was surrounded by historical architecture from all different periods in time—Spanish Colonial New Orleans, Acadian Plantation Homes, and historical “Charpentier” homes just to name a few. I am fortunate enough to have traveled growing up, and was always attracted to the role architecture played in creating a sense of ‘place’ wherever we went. I decided to study architecture as a way to combine my interests in math and art with my family-instilled passion for traveling and history. I moved to Baton Rouge to attend LSU and worked as an architectural intern during my time as a student from my third year on. The summer before my final year, I attended the College of Art & Design Rome Program and spent the summer studying architecture in and around Rome, Italy. Upon arriving home, I spent the fall working for a local architecture firm before returning to LSU to graduate in the spring of 2014 with a Bachelor of Architecture and minor in Architectural History. After continuing to work for a year after graduation, I moved to New York to broaden my architectural experience. While in New York, I managed projects at a high end residential architecture firm renovating apartments and townhouses throughout the city.
