Hello,

I am Arushi Chand, and I have just finished my Undergraduate Course with a BA (HONS) degree in Interior Architecture from LASALLE College of the Arts in Singapore.

I have worked on a variety of projects with ONG & ONG in Singapore, ranging from high end residential to hospitality. While my educational background has helped me resolve design issues​​ ranging from Schools to Hospitals, as well as Urban-ism. Through the Design process I have worked consistently on conceptualisation, design, and visualisation.

Firm that excite me are the ones with the core philosophy of problem solving as it is the same approach that I have been educated with. The projects that I have undertaken, have been those which required a designer to resolve issues within a society by designing spaces. I see myself adding value to the family of an architecture firm by creating intriguing spaces which affect and impact people in their daily lives. I intend to achieve this goal by adopting a pragmatic approach that places the community first, always.

I am tenacious and do not give up when the pressure is immense and this allows me to accomplish tasks within a given deadline. I have worked at an architecture firm in Singapore, within which a studio worked as a team. Working under a designer with such an approach has made me a team player and this allows me to get the best out of each individual. I am compassionate towards matters that are affecting the society today. This helps me to be a responsible designer, towards both the issue and client.

I am very comfortable with Autocad, Sketchup (V-Ray+Podium), Photoshop, InDesign as well as Revit.
