Luis Rosario Lluveras, RA, CSI, CDT, has 16 years of experience as an architectural designer, architect, and project manager. Luis has devoted his career to construction documents production, design and project management of renovation and new construction projects. In 2008, Luis joined the US Army Corps of Engineers – New York District as an architect. At the New York District, Luis is responsible for developing construction documents, and request for proposals (RFP) for projects over $5,000,000. From 2004 to 2008, Luis was the Deputy Base Civil Engineer at the 108th Air Refueling Wing, of the New Jersey Air National Guard (NJANG). At the 108th, Luis was responsible for developing construction documents and statements of work for repair and renovation projects; and was in charge of the management of Large SRM projects over $4,000,000. These projects involve all disciplines: mechanical, electrical, communications, structural, civil, and architectural.
Luis is an active member of the Construction Specifications Institute, currently serving as the Certification Chairperson of the CSI Metropolitan New York Chapter. Luis holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and a Master of Science in Urban Design from Pratt Institute. He is a licensed architect and has earned the CSI - Construction Document Technologist (CDT) certificate.
