About

           Having grown up and lived all over the United States and parts of Canada, I would bring a wide range of experience to your firm. My career not only includes Architecture but had its roots in Fine Arts, which began early, as my art work was already being displayed in galleries and exhibition halls in New York City, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Chicago and elsewhere by the time I was 16 years old. Upon entering undergraduate school, I continued my studies in Ceramics, Photography, Glass Blowing, Sculpture Watercolor and Oil Painting and Drawing.

           After graduating from the University of Colorado (Boulder) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with an emphasis in Ceramics and Photography, I started a design/build construction firm. Having success in this but needed more from myself, I entered the Graduate School for Architecture at the University of Colorado at Denver, and graduated with Honors with a Masters of Architecture in Architecture and Landscape Architecture. Two years out of Graduate school I started my own Architecture firm that now encompasses from conception thru construction and everything in between.

           Two and three dimensional design have always been my life, dedicating myself to propagating Architecture and Fine Arts to the world in any arena possible across many disciplines. Architecture has been my main discipline, running large and small projects from conception to completion.

           My current desire is to work with others, to share and use my knowledge of Architecture, Design and Construction with others, and show ways to infuse it into today’s society, landscape, built environments and everyday lives of all of us.

           I have experience and expertise in all of the following areas;

Architecture                                               Landscape Architecture

Steep Slope Design & Construction              REVIT           - 9 years exp.

Planning & Urban Design                            Interior Design

Structural Design & Engineering                  Unique Materials & Construction Methods

Client Relations                                          Sustainable Design

Inter-Governmental Agency Relations          Construction

Model Making                                            Product Design

Furniture Design                                         Heavy Equipment Operation

Helical Pier Installation

           While working in the Architecture field I have accomplished the highest levels of success in commercial and residential design creating and completing projects with budgets from $500,000 to $56,000,000. I bring with me the skill of management from having a very successful Architecture firm for the past 23 years, along with a great collaborative skill from putting all of the necessary parties together to work in an efficient and productive manner to complete our projects. Because of my artistic abilities and listening skills I have had a 100% acceptance rate of my first design solution to all of my projects by the clients. Early in my career I won awards in design competitions but as my career progressed I became so involved with my clients and projects that entering further competitions had to be put on hold.

           I am extremely ambitious and creative in all of my endeavors, which are just some of the reasons that I would be the successful candidate for this position. I have been mentored by some of the best Business Men, Architects and Artists and have in return mentored Students, Architects and Artists on many career and life goals and on projects spanning many different disciplines
