Vanessa DeLeon Associates, Edgewater, NJ, US, Intern
Interning for Vanessa Deleon was a privilege. The team that I assisted really taught me a lot. I made presentation boards, made phone calls to vendors, dealt with materials, and worked side by side with Vanessa and her team. I was even in an episode of Space TV of a tour of Vaneesa’s office.
Port Logistics Inc., Clifton, NJ, US, Clerk/Assistant
During the summer and winter breaks I assisted an accountant at a trucking company. I organized a new system that made it easier and more efficient for a task that had to be done. My job was to make sure that each company that used the logistics paid their bills and I used Excel to manage it.
