A single extruded display box hovers over the entire width of the store, challenging the conventional shopping experience.  Internally illuminated surfaces composted of high efficacy LED light strips hidden behind diffusing glass panels illuminate the merchandise overhead.  The Luggage Factory store design in the Grapevine Mills is an unique shopping destination from the nearby Dallas Fort Worth airport.  Hidden LED strips located with mathematical precision are blurred by glass coated in a special diffusing film to conceal the diodes.  3/8″ thick horizontal shelves supported by 1 1/4″ sq tube and aircraft cable support the showcased merchandise.  The large display frame is clad in a dark metal panel while the side walls are wrapped in grey anodized metal.
