About

For the past five years I have been developing skills in both real estate development and architectural design. I am currently a master’s candidate in Architecture at the University of Michigan. Over the last three years I have been developing and honing my skills in design while also improving my knowledge of the development process. I have taken classes such as construction, environmental systems, health by design, sustainable systems, real estate and urban development, real estate financing, and of course, various design studios. I have learned about the mechanisms of development and how they relate to the architectural process, the value and impact of good design, the importance of sustainable interventions, and have engaged in many debates about the future of the built environment. While I cannot predict where the industry will go, I can put myself in a position to impact its direction.

After applying to graduate programs in architecture, I accepted a position at Kobi Karp Architecture and Interior Design, an architecture firm based in Miami, FL. During my time there I was able to develop skills in legal review, marketing, and management while working directly with the CFO. I was able to learn about the processes with which the built environment is executed. During the summer of 2021, I assisted the creative director of The Witkoff Group, a real estate firm specializing in luxury development. I was able to develop my skills in architectural rendering and plan development. During my time at the University of Michigan, I have learned many skills related to the architectural process, but more importantly I have come to know how to learn. I am a quick learner and can apply that asset to any software or proficiency needed.

Thank you in advance for your consideration.
