NCDOT’s Transportation Engineer Associates Program (TEA) is an amazing opportunity for emerging engineers to launch their careers. This highly competitive program gets ~2,500 applicants a year for 30 positions. Associates choose their 3-month rotations where they explore all that transportation engineering has to offer, including areas such as R&D, Materials, marine, rail, aviation, highway, construction, bike/ped, photogrammetry, hydrology, planning, and more.  When they complete the program, they pick the area of engineering they like best and launch their career as a full time engineer.  You can learn more about it at bit.ly/AboutNCDOTTea
