I always had an obsession with drawing buildings and places as a child and took up a part-time job in high school to save money to enroll in a college course in design. I investigated my primary interest, and learn and grow each day from the choice to pursue architecture.
My current time is spent working at a firm in New York, NY and seeking mentorship to become a registered professional and designer as well as develop skills in marketing and new project procurement. The value of collaboration and teamwork throughout my process is the most rewarding part of my professional path.
Occasionally I tutor designer software for artists and architects. My knowledge in computational programs is a valuable toolkit that put into affect my interests in research, media and expression within the profession.
My roles within working in the design and architecture industry have been at the junior designer and junior architect levels. I currently work in an office where I take on roles in marketing and new business. I also manage my firm's archive and collections.
