Jared Eisenhower is an architectural designer & abstract artist living and working in New York City. His recent experience includes the design & construction administration of the contemporary photography museum Fotografiska New York located in downtown Manhattan. Prior to moving to New York to pursue his architectural career, Jared received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee in Architecture & Design and lived as a resident of East Tennessee for 22 years. His subsequent time spent in the Northeast has helped to develop a broadened perspective of the American socioeconomic landscape and provides a unique personal retrospective of the region that shaped his adolescence and upbringing. His professional experience also includes work as a research assistant and illustrator for Sun, Wind & Light: Architectural Design Strategies, 3rd Edition where he developed a keen understanding of both passive & active sustainable design strategies. In both his architectural designs & abstract artwork, he is heavily influenced by light, scale, proportion and landscape.
