Phillips prepared master plans for several resort villages along the coast line of Pulau Padar in Indonesia. Each village was to take on a theme that would be different from the next. Phillips also used the topography to create isolation to the individual villas within the villages. All the villas were connected to the beaches by elevated boardwalks. Sight-lines to the ocean were guided by the use of native plant materials placed to screen adjacent villas. These designs were completed by Phillips in 2014 in a master plan report.
