About

     I am a recent graduate of Architecture interested to begin my journey into the field of Architecture. I can assist your firm with my fresh, worldly ideas. I have recently acquired my Bachelors of Architecture from the Spitzer School of Architecture at the City College of New York.

     Over my years in school I have taken part in various activities to further my understanding of the professional world of Architecture.  I have two years experience working on a project for the Solar Decathlon, a worldwide competition sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, to build a working example of a net-zero-energy urban rooftop “pod home”. My team and I solved real-life tasks such as:
            - working through the Design Development process;
            - compiling a formal project manual including writing specifications for used materials;
            - compiling construction documents and shop drawings;
            - fund raising and donating procurement of necessary materials and products.

The competition dealt with energy-saving, carbon-lowering sustainable living and the integration of various trades. I am knowledgeable in using Revit Building Information Modeling and other architectural software programs.

     Being involved in the Solar Decathlon has given me an ideal initial step into the professional world of client architecture.  I also have 6 months experience in showroom sales and material library meintenance. Please feel free to contact me so we can discuss in person at your convenience ways in which a creative, accomplished new-comer could be an economical asset for your organization.
