Fairview Lands at Burlington GO

As the Greater Toronto Area continues to grow along its expanding rail network, Burlington is growing a higher density neighborhood around the new transit station. GGLO led a mixed-use masterplan with vibrant retail streetscapes and parks with seven residential towers rising above. This new community will provide a wide diversity of unit types and retail spaces, with easy train access to downtown Toronto.

The towers rise above Burlington with views across Lake Ontario and to the Niagara Escarpment. The architecture draws upon the colors of the natural landscape, interpreted in a sophisticated, contemporary expression. Entries to commercial, residential, and retail buildings will have distinctly different but complementary designs. The residential towers are oriented to maximize sunlight, filter shadows, and feature extensive sweeping views. Creative architectural lighting adds visual interest both day and night, throughout the seasons.

Shared open spaces throughout are connected by broad walkable streets and plazas.  Mature trees and planting humanize and connects this new urban development to its broader Burlington community. An entry hill climb with lush greenery takes visitors up into the surrounding buildings. Brick and wood detailing brings visual interest to the podium, while a large roof garden maximizes views to the lake and parks.
