Lincoln Elementary School For The Arts (HWA + Franklin Enrique Garcia)

Is a new 105,000 S.F. Facility located on Ames Blvd in Marrero.  the original school was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Through a series of Charrettes the design time was able to proposed a program which included a state of the art facility which contains a cafetorium and full kitchen, performing arts center, a community center, computer labs, gallery spaces, as well pottery studios.

Acadiana Center for the Arts Phase II (EDR + Franklin Enrique Garcia)

The ACA is located in the context of Downtown Lafayette, between a historic hardware store, and sandstone / granite facade bank (which is phase I of the ACA), This modern houses a 300-seat high performance theater is composed of 10” precast concrete panels cladded with reverberation fixed and movable panels to achieve multiple acoustical configuration this was achieved in closed collaboration with theater, acoustical, and mechanical consultant team. The exterior of the teather or "The Box" as it was called during the design phases, is cladded with a black rainscreen terracotta panels which creates a robust axiomatic element when in contrast with the steel, glass and stone contrast of the rest of the facility.
