I recently graduated from the University of Florida with a Masters in Architecture. I spent most of the time since my graduation working with Human Action; a non-for profit organization dedicated to empowering Haitian disaster victims to self-sufficiency through innovations in information technology and virtual education. I help them develop their “eHUBs”, modular computer labs constructed from recycled shipping containers, that will expand Haitian’s access to the technological and educational resources necessary for achieving their creative and economic potential. 

I also have some construction experience, which has given me an understanding of how a building is put together. When I’m creating tectonic elements or am putting together building details that background in building construction comes very handy.

I’m interested at the moment in designs that integrate all the different systems that make up a finished building into one final product. In the same way that different systems work together in a machine to achieve maximum efficiency, with the help of new tools that are available to architects like BIM programs, a building should incorporate the best of modern technologies for energy efficiency and sustainability.

I have a strong interest in urban planning, digital design technologies, digital fabrication, Philosophy and film.
