About 

I'm a Canadian designer, maker, builder, thinker, writer, and architect currently based in New York. With experience in both the Canadian timber carpentry industry and internationally renowned architecture firms in Scandinavia, I believe the act of designing buildings is inseparable from the craft of making.

Participated in the fabrication and design of a variety of projects including hotels, multi-family housing, residential laneway homes, and art installations. Played a lead role in the digital fabrication of a CNC-milled plywood structure restaurant in downtown Calgary.

Columbia University, New York, NY, US, MArch, Advanced Placement Master of Architecture

One of only several students granted Advanced Placement upon entry. Recipient of the Avery Scholarship. Participated in a summer research workshop collaboration between the NYC Housing and Preservation Department and Columbia GSAPP on multigenerational housing advocacy. Produced an exhibition along with the Natural Materials Lab exploring earthen construction, specifically using seaweed as a biofiber and bioalginate to create carbon negative architecture.
