Good Day to you,
Welcome to my Archinect Page. I'm an architectural designer located in the Bay Area. See below for more about me.
Eight years of experience in architecture; working on a range of projects including cultural, retail, commercial, government, medical, and residential architecture. Graduated from Boston Architectural College with a M. Arch degree while working full time in design offices around Boston. Currently work for a small firm in San Francisco that designs private residences in Hawaii and California.
My roles and responsibilities have included meeting with clients and contractors, drafting and design, code research, construction documents and administration, and final walk-through and punch-lists.
My wife and I moved to California in the Summer of 2013. After a bit of job hunting I've landed a job in San Francisco working for Zak Architecture. We do high end residential design. I am loving my work and also pursuing my license.
Before San Francisco, I was employed at Bergmeyer Associates Inc. in Boston Ma while getting my masters in architecture. Bergmeyer is a first class design firm for retail and institutional design. While there I was a job captain working on multiple bank renovations.
I love working collaboratively and presenting designs before client groups and consultants. I design best with pen and trace but also using Revit, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Darian's School Blog on Archinect:
A blog for an on going MArch Thesis Student
Thesis is now in progress. This Blog will track the advancement through the program and record the many iterations that it takes to arrive at the final solution.
My thesis is concerning how architecture can adapt to immigrant cultures and the current mixing of world cultures.
It will be a fun ride!
