My name is Christine Buckley and I am an interior designer. Previously I was a junior interior designer for the Leyden Lewis Design Studio in the Dumbo area of Brooklyn. I graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology and worked for the Leyden Lewis Design Studio for four years. Over that course of the four years I have learned and managed a number of different responsibilities varying from office/project manager to drafts person and designer. I am highly motivated and enjoy working with a team. I am punctual, organized and am able to multitask in a time efficient manner. I have managed over a dozen of different projects working with contractors, subcontractors, and the interns whom I've trained. I am currently freelancing for Homepolish as an independent contractor working on my own design projects on a freelance basis. I am also a freelance 3D renderer and drafts person. In addition to that I am a wedding coordinator designing high-end events for Loli Events. I am looking for a full time position at an interior design firm to grow and learn with a new team. Below is a link to my portfolio. Please feel free to call or e-mail to schedule an interview and I look forward to hearing from you.

Leyden Lewis Design Studio, Brooklyn, NY, US, Junior Designer
I joined the Leyden Lewis studio as an intern, and soon demonstrated a talent for coordinating on-site installations. I assisted the principle designer, Mr. Leyden Lewis, during his appearance on HGTV's "Showhouse Showdown," and eventually earned the role of junior designer. I worked directly with Mr. Lewis on a variety of ambitious residential and commercial projects, and contributed to all aspects of design from inception to finished installation. I have a special fascination with the language of materials, and I relish the opportunity to use new materials as an antidote to conventional design solutions. Whether employing my knowledge of innovative materials, space layouts and contemporary furniture, creating design intent drawings, or exercising my administrative talents and attention to detail, I have valued my time at the studio. Experience also includes, 3-dimensional renderings, construction documents and working on the business end of the studio producing proposals, invoices and construction schedules.
