About

Beyond recently receiving a Masters of Architecture degree from the University of Michigan, I have had a broad range of on-site construction work experience and hold a BS in Engineering. I am committed to the social responsibilities of architecture within our built environment and possess a passion for functional and ecologically-driven design.

My graduate investigations at Michigan focused on the way in which post-industrial regions can utilize an existing cultural and manufacturing capacity to re-invent the way in which they function economically, socially, and environmentally. This investigation included on-site study throughout regions of western France, Belgium, Flint and Detroit.

My past construction experience has included work on a multitude of multi-million dollar commercial building projects including a high-end Health Club and Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona as well as Spring Training stadiums for the Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers. Outside of the commercial sector, I have design and construction experience in water/waste water treatment, large scale wind power generation, and custom residential projects.
