This Custom Entry Table was an exploration project in metal patination.  The center ring is made from a steel disc that I plated with copper and aged with various chemicals to create a wide range of colors.  This art form is fascinating to me, as I have learned to guide the chemical reaction over the years.  While I can anticipate and help direct the patination, the reaction will always have the final say and produce a unique pattern.  

The base is made from Wenge, the ring is accented with Paduke, and the top is a Genuine Mahogany Slab.
