The Palazzo dei Lavori pubblici, a building to house parts of the public administration was constructed in 1961-66. The Design by architects Garbaccio, Passanti and Perona is a fine example of a contextualized modernist architecture.
Due to its location opposite the famous Turin cathedral and its modern appearance there has been much controversy on this project.
