Since I was a child, construction site was one of the most exciting and adventuring place for me to play. I was born within the family of architects and this fact gave me a unique opportunity to get familiar with this profession and start my architectural education very early.
After a time of looking for myself in different fields like science and music, I finally decided to combine all of my interests and abilities and become an architect. In 2012 I graduated Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Poznań University of Technology and I am just about to graduate Master degree from the same university in June 2014. In the meanwhile, I have been travelling across many places in Europe studying, working, learning languages and carefully watching the world around me.
During my studies, gap year and holidays I have managed to gather almost two years of full time working experience. The first independent experience was in a small Danish office LOFTI Arkitekter, recently divorced from Henning Larsen Architects. I was involved in mostly residential and offices projects including competitions. My main responsibilities were individual tasks regarding design ideas and presenting them in renderings, models, diagrams and technical drawings. An opportunity of regular visits on the construction sites helped me to realize about the importance of details in architecture.
Afterwards, I joined a small international team in the Netherlands - DENKKAMER. I have been involved in projects from various fields and sizes. Often, I had to face working in tight time schedules which required very good time management skills. I enjoyed the opportunity to get familiar with more advanced stages of the designing process including material research and client relationships.
I strongly believe, that the variety of my skills will fulfil your expectations. I am strong, determined individual, loving challenges and discovering the unknown. Moreover, I am dependable, systematic and time efficient which helps me to achieve my aimings and solve any given challenge.

Many sea miles from land, in the middle of triangle between United Kingdom, Iceland and Norway there is a country of Faroe Islands with own language and tradition. Scattered on islands, shaped picturesquely and covered by hills, grass, stones and many sheep.
The municipality of Tórshavn – the capital of Faroe Islands – organized competition to create typical houses for middle class, possible to place in different areas in Faroe Islands. Area in the upper parts of hills of Tórshavn was chosen to place a sample settlement.
The typical Faroese houses built years ago represent common style. In order to minimize unpleasant strong wind blowing houses were placed in planned disorder. Different angles, sizes and avoiding long and big spaces between the buildings was found as the easiest way to brake winds. Moreover, most of the houses had grass growing on the roofs which provided good thermal comfort. Many of the walls were constructed partially of thick stone from the north side to improve thermal comfort of the walls and after years this parts naturally become part of the ground – covered by grass.
Created typology stays in balance between the tradition and competition challenges. It bases on units of the same size, possible to manufacture, transport and fast build up on the plot. According to different needs of different people four types of apartments were created. To avoid similarities, break winds and provide good light conditions buildings were planned to be constructed in a pattern of snake.
Proposed area contains of all kinds of units following some rules. All houses for handicapped were placed in the bottom, the biggest apartments on the top having best views to the bay of Tórshavn.
