This project aim to design a visual and performing art school that protect the privacy of the students and open to public. By rotating, scaling and slicing puzzle volume, it becomes a half-open massing srounding the most important place for a performing art school: the auditoruim. A row of diamond-shape column is placed on top to modified the shape of roof. The auditorium’s roof doesn’t change from the outside to highlight the auditorium, which makes it clear for visitors to find. The interior roof will be modified to enhance sound effect. Roof windows are opened to the opposite of direct sunlight, which allows as much natural lights to come in. Courtyard space is all around the school that makes lesson is not just held in classroom.
