My name is Zhenyu Wang. I have graduated from the undergraduate program of architecture college in University of Arizona this year. During these 5 years, I have gained valuable experiences and skills about architecture, from small detail projects to large urban issues, not only the skill of design, but also the skill of exploration. The College of Architecture and Landscape Architecture provided an education combined the design and build together, I think the knowledge connects both creation and realism will lead us to the future of architecture field. In these 5 years, I learned the use of new materials, advanced technologies, computer programs, and even the future directions of Architecture. I should thanks to the University of Arizona helps me in the way to achieve my destination.

        Even though I am going to immigrate to LA, CA, Unite States, but still, I am an international student who comes from China, and I lived in China over 18 years. The college life in United States not only teaches me the architecture knowledge, but also the social knowledge. Since Architecture is a theme relates to the society closely, the difference social and cultural environments give me the experiences in these two nations. It also teaches me what people need, what people want, and what people desire in different backgrounds. I was believe architecture is the most direct way to change the world, no matter a big part or a small part, architecture is the way to prove myself. After 5 years of college life in US, I still believe it deeply, and even stronger. The knowledge which the CALA and society taught me made my way clear - I will try my best to use architecture to create better design, and contribute to more and more people.

         I believe I am a suitable candidate for an entry level position with your firm. The College education taught me the ability to creativity, to build the relationship, and to work efficiency. For me, I think how to make a better design in given period, how to make the design buildable, how to reduce its cost, how to apply traditional and new materials, and how to prove its value are my basic considerations. I cannot say I am the perfect person in the architecture field yet, but based on my knowledge, based on my ability, and the situation of architectural internationalization, I will try my best to create value to your firm, and also to myself.
